Please use Medcards.co to find a Medical Marijuana Doctor in your area to request an appointment for your Medical Marijuana Card Certification. Some States allow for ‘Online Certifications’, which means you can pick any Doctor in your State to get certified for Medical Marijuana via a telemedicine visit. The majority of US-states allowing Medical Marijuana, require in-person visits with a local Medical Marijuana Doctor.

FAQs

1. Find A Doctor In Your State
Confirm your online or in-person appointment with one of our Doctors. The appointment will help the Doctor assess if you qualify for Medical Marijuana.

2. Complete Your Certification
After your visit (online or in-person), the Doctor will submit your certification request with the State. The State should be able to approve your certification within 1-2 weeks.

3. Get Your Medical Marijuana Card
Once approved by the State, you will receive your Medical Marijuana Card in the mail. You may be able to use your patient-ID from your approval confirmation email to purchase Cannabis products at local dispensaries.

Once you have contacted a Medical Marijuana Doctor who provides online certifications and scheduled your appointment, you will meet with your Doctor via online video chat using your Smartphone or Computer. Prior to your appointment, you will be given additional instructions by the Doctor to make sure you are supported along the process. Please make sure that your device is video and audio enabled. You may be asked to submit medical records prior to your appointment. The overall certification process should only take about 15 minutes or less. States that currently allow online certifications include: AR, CA, CO, CT, IA, IL, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, MT, NV, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, RI, TX, VA

Prices for initial certifications and follow up certifications vary per Doctor! That’s why we empower you to choose the best prices and availability available from multiple Medical Marijuana Doctors in your State. Lastly, there is a State fee by the Department Of Health to issue your certification.

Some States allow patients to get certified 100% online. In other States you are required to complete an in-person visit.
