At Genesis Healthcare Associates, Georgia we work hard to make the patient an integral part of their own care. We realize that each patient must be empowered to take charge of their own healthcare. We also realize that we have to empower our staff, as well as the patient, to get this done. We provide medical marijuana certification for patients whose medical condition has been evaluated to be one of the qualifying conditions for medical marijuana. A minimum of 2 years of medical records documenting your qualifying disease is required. Your records must be from a licensed physician that has treated or is currently treating you for the qualifying disease. Your records must be sent to our office no less than 5 days prior to your appointment. This gives our providers time to review and prepare for your visit.
